This page is a plain-English summary of what we collect and why, written by the Trillioneuro team rather than a law firm. If you need this reviewed for formal compliance purposes, please have a qualified professional check it against current Irish/EU data protection law before relying on it.

What we collect

When you claim your place on the record, we ask for:

Your name or handle (shown publicly on the record)
Your email address (used only to confirm your place and contact you about it — never shown publicly)
An optional message and country (shown publicly)
An optional photo or logo (reviewed before it's ever shown publicly)

If you type your email into the hero field before opening the claim form, we may save it as a pre-registration so you don't have to retype it — even if you don't complete your claim.

What we don't collect

We never ask for payment details, passwords, or government ID. Founding membership is free, and no financial information passes through this site.

How it's stored

Your information is stored with Supabase (a hosted Postgres database) under row-level security rules that prevent anyone — including us — from reading other founders' email addresses through the public record. Only your name, message, country, and rank are ever displayed publicly.

Your rights

You can ask us to correct or remove your entry at any time by emailing us. Because the record's whole premise is permanence, removal will delete your entry rather than editing it — we don't retroactively rewrite history.
